The camera does not turn on
- Is the battery inserted correctly?
- Fully insert the battery and close the battery chamber cover. If the cover does not close, the battery may be inserted in the wrong direction or there may be a foreign object in the battery chamber.
- Is the battery charged?
-
Use a charging AC adapter or battery charger to charge the battery.
-
When using a charging AC adapter: After confirming the camera is off, connect the charging AC adapter to the camera and plug it in. The camera charge lamp turns on while charging is in progress and turns off when charging is complete.
- If the charge lamp flashes rapidly for 30 seconds and then goes off, remove and reinsert the battery. If this occurs repeatedly, the battery may not be supported or the camera may be too hot. Stop charging and either wait for the camera to cool down or replace the battery.

-
- Are the battery contacts clean?
- If the battery contacts or battery chamber are soiled, wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Is the battery used under appropriate conditions?
-
- Batteries in general exhibit a drop in capacity at low ambient temperatures, reducing battery endurance. We recommend keeping the battery and camera at room temperature before shooting and between shots.
- The internal temperature of the battery or camera may rise in hot environments, preventing shooting from starting or causing it to end automatically. If the camera becomes too hot, turn the camera off and wait for its internal temperature to drop.
