The AF-Assist Illuminator
The Z 50‘s AF-assist illuminator has a range of about 1.0–3.0 m (3 ft 4 in.–9 ft 10 in.); when using the illuminator, use a lens with a focal length of 16–300 mm. Some lenses may block the illuminator at certain focus distances. Restrictions applying to lenses used in combination with the Z 50‘s AF-assist illuminator are listed below.
- Remove lens hoods when using the illuminator.
