Playback zoom

Move the zoom control toward () in full-frame playback mode (1) to zoom in on an image (2).

Operations during playback zoom

Function	Operation
Adjust the magnification rate	Move the zoom control ( ()/ ()). The zoom can also be adjusted by rotating the command dial.
Move the display position	Press the multi selector . The display position of the zoomed image is displayed as the yellow area at the bottom right of the screen. If you are viewing an image that was captured using face detection or pet detection, the camera zooms in on the face detected at the time of shooting (except images captured using [Continuous] or [Exposure bracketing]). To zoom in on an area of the image where there are no faces, adjust the magnification rate and then press .
Crop the image	Press the button. Crop
Return to full-frame playback mode	Press the button.
