Changes to Long-Exposure Displays

The control panel display for long time-exposures in photo mode now shows additional information.

  • The time elapsed since the shutter-release button was pressed all the way down to start the exposure is now shown in the control panel during “Bulb” and “Time” photography (Long Time-Exposures (Mode M Only)).

  • The control panel now shows the time remaining in exposures taken at slow shutter speeds with [ON] selected for Custom Setting d6 [Extended shutter speeds (M)] (d5: Extended Shutter Speeds (M)).

  • When [ON] selected for [Long exposure NR] (Long Exposure NR) in the photo shooting menu, the control panel will now display a count-down timer while the camera processes pictures taken at shutter speeds of “Bulb” or “Time” or at speeds slower than 30 s.
