Z Connector Function (Headphone/Remote Cord Connector Function)

Select a device to use by connecting to the headphone/remote cord (Z) connector.

• When set to [Auto switch], the camera automatically detects whether the connected device is a pair of headphones or an optional MC-DC3 remote cord. [Auto switch] is recommended for most situations.
• If the headphones do not operate properly with the [Auto switch] option (such as when using headphones with 4-pole plug), select [Headphone].
