Audio input sensitivity

Press the multi selector left or right to set the audio input sensitivity for microphone input or line input.

OptionDescription
[AUTO]([A])Input sensitivity is adjusted automatically.
  • [AUTO] cannot be selected when [ON] is selected for [32-bit float audio recording] in the video recording menu.
  • [AUTO] can also be set by tapping [Auto] on the display.
[0]Turn sound recording off.
[1] - [20]Adjust input sensitivity manually. Choose from values of from [1] to [20]. The higher the value, the higher the sensitivity; the lower the value, the lower the sensitivity.
  • If the sound level is displayed in red, the volume is too high. Reduce input sensitivity.

Videos recorded with [0] selected for [Audio input sensitivity] are indicated by a 2 icon.
