Perspective control

Create copies that reduce the horizontal and vertical effects of perspective in photos taken looking up from the base of a tall object.

  • The effect can be previewed in the edit display. Tap Q on the display to switch between a display of the image after applying the effect and the original image.
  • Note that greater amounts of perspective control result in more of the edges being cropped out.
  • For horizontal correction, highlight C and press the multi selector right. Press the multi selector up to stretch the left edge, and down to stretch the right edge. Press the center of the multi selector to save changes and return to the previous display.
  • For vertical correction, highlight D and press the multi selector right. Press the multi selector up to stretch the top edge, and down to stretch the bottom edge. Press the center of the multi selector to save changes and return to the previous display.
  • Highlight E and press the center of the multi selector to save the retouched copy.
