New Picture Control Item: “Rich Tone Portrait”

The 4 [Rich Tone Portrait] item has been added to [Set Picture Control] in the photo shooting and video recording menus. This option produces more vivid results than [Portrait] while capturing details of the subject’s complexion and avoiding loss of detail in highlights. It is also suitable for pictures that will later be processed or retouched.

[Rich Tone Portrait] has also been added to [Manage Picture Control] in the photo shooting and video recording menus. You can adjust the settings according to your preferences and save it as a custom Picture Control.
When [Rich Tone Portrait] is selected, the following settings are adjusted.
- [Quick sharp]
  - [Sharpening]
  - [Mid-range sharpening]
  - [Clarity]
- [Contrast]
- [Brightness]
- [Saturation]
- [Hue]
