b6: Center-Weighted Area
G button UA Custom Settings menu
When [Center-weighted metering] is selected, the camera assigns the greatest weight to an area in the center of the viewfinder when setting exposure. Custom Setting b6 [Center-weighted area] is used to choose the size of the area given the greatest weight when [Center-weighted metering] is selected.
-
If a non-CPU or AF-S Fisheye NIKKOR 8–15 mm f/3.5–4.5E ED lens is attached, the size of the area is fixed at a diameter of 12 mm.
