Breathing compensation
G button U 1 video recording menu
Selecting [ON] allows the camera to correct changes in the angle of view (focus breathing) that occur due to lens characteristics when focus shifts.
- This feature is available when a compatible lens is attached.
- [Breathing compensation] is not available when [N-RAW 12-bit (NEV)] is selected for [Video file type] in the video recording menu.
Cautions: Breathing Compensation
- [Breathing compensation] may be unavailable with some lenses when [OFF] is selected for [Auto distortion control] in the video recording menu.
- Note that changes in angle of view may still be recorded when using lenses prone to significant focus breathing.
